Eiad Musallet

An Entrepreneur Built on Hard Work

Eiad Musallet is a Kansas City entrepreneur and the founder of Express Stop. His journey in the convenience retail industry began with an early connection to the business through his father, who worked with convenience stores. That foundation gave Eiad firsthand insight into the industry and ultimately inspired him to build something of his own.

In 2004, Eiad founded Express Stop in Kansas City, Missouri. What began as a local business grew through persistence, hands-on leadership, and a willingness to recognize potential where others might overlook it. Today, the business has expanded to 20 gas station locations, with Eiad also pursuing opportunities in the supermarket industry.

Building Businesses That Serve the Community

For Eiad, a successful business has to understand the people it serves. His approach emphasizes clean locations, competitive prices, fresh products, and quick, dependable service. In communities with significant Hispanic populations, that also means providing grocery and retail options that reflect local customers and their needs.

His expansion into supermarkets represents a natural extension of that philosophy—combining grocery, convenience, and value while staying closely connected to the community.

Turning Opportunity Into Growth

Eiad’s entrepreneurial mindset is rooted in seeing what a business can become rather than simply what it is today. One of the experiences that shaped his career was taking an ordinary store and transforming it into a successful operation.

He approaches new projects with clear goals and a strong focus on measurable results. Economic conditions may rise and fall, but his response remains consistent: work harder, adapt, and continue moving forward.

Success Through Consistency

Eiad’s philosophy is straightforward: set goals, work relentlessly, and make sure they get accomplished.

Rather than allowing setbacks or self-doubt to dictate his direction, he relies on effort and persistence. He measures business performance by tangible results while continually looking for opportunities to improve his operations and expand into new markets.

Influenced by successful convenience retailers such as QuikTrip, Eiad continues to study what works while developing businesses around his own priorities of service, value, cleanliness, and community.

Community at the Center

Growth is important to Eiad, but so is remaining connected to the communities behind that growth. From serving neighborhood customers to supporting charitable efforts, he believes businesses have a responsibility to contribute to the places they call home.

After more than two decades as an entrepreneur, the principles behind Eiad’s work remain much the same as when he started Express Stop in 2004: work hard, keep improving, serve the community, and turn every opportunity into something better.
